Finding True Beauty

People are not as beautiful as they look or as they talk. They are only as beautiful as they love, as they care, as they share.

kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world no matter what you look like.


I believe that there is nothing more beautiful in this world than kindness.

Growing up, I feel like many of the people in my generation were taught that outer beauty is everything. I used to feel as though my physique defined my worth. I think as women, this is a DAILY struggle. We are constantly surrounded by magazines, advertisements and billboards with words like

“HOw to lose ten pounds.”

“How to dress for your man.”

I’m sure you can think of a million other headings that are just like the ones above. We become what we see and when we are perpetually seeing what we need to change it can warp the view we have on ourselves. But true beauty does not come from exterior curves. True beauty is not long hair, thigh gaps and blue eyes. True beauty comes from within. You see, I’ve decided to dedicate to making everything around me as beautiful as I can. I think the thing we forget in our daily lives is that kindness not only is the true beauty in this world but it is also the key to happiness. Spreading kindness is so much easier than holding on and spreading hate in your heart. The more I think about it, joy and kindness are quite intertwined. When your eyes are set on being kind, joy tends to follow. Removing toxic people from your life and only letting in the good can contribute to a happier healthier life. There is much more hate and evil in our world than there is good but there’s something we can do about it. Be kind to unkind people. They need it the most. We can each live every day like it is our last and spread more love especially when it feels like someone doesn’t deserve it. It’s not going to hurt you, I promise.
